Tim Snelling

Tim founded Palladium Insurance Brokers Ltd. in 1996 under the stewardship of his late father, Lee Snelling, who had extensive sales experience in the property/casualty and specifically in life insurance brokerage development.

Born and raised in Kanata, Tim is a charter member of the Rotary Club of Ottawa Kanata Sunrise, a board member/officer of the Young Presidents’ Organisation (Ottawa Chapter) and in 2014 was awarded top 40 under 40 in Eastern Ontario.

Tim works exclusively with professionals and business owners in developing advanced wealth and estate planning programs. He brings vast personal and professional experience to clientele including but not limited to corporate structure/succession, estate creation and protection, liquidity, and tax planning.

Tim is a member in good standing of Advocis (the oldest and largest voluntary professional membership association of financial advisors and planners in Canada) as well as CALU (Conference for Advanced Life Underwriting). Tim is a President's Circle Gold Key Advisor with the Great-West Life Assurance Company (now Canada Life) and a member of the Executive Life council. Tim served as President of the Ottawa Insurance Brokers Association from 2003-2005.

In his spare time Tim can be found on the river with his son Edward and daughter Taylor.
