Patricia Bilodeau, Personal Lines Supervisor

Patricia BilodeauPatricia was born in Ottawa and began her insurance career in 1974, in Toronto at the company level. She returned to Ottawa in 1975, and moved to the broker side of the business. She joined Palladium Insurance in 1999, as a Customer Service Representative in both personal lines and commercial insurance. Currently, she works with David Denyer, Palladium’s Vice President of Commercial, as a Commercial Lines assistant, providing courteous, honest and personalized service to our existing and new clients. Patricia is also pursuing a Customer Service Insurance Professional designation. Once that achievement is realized, she plans to begin work on her Canadian Accredited Insurance Broker designation.

Chris BarrettePersonal Lines Account Manager

Chris BarretteBorn in Montreal, and raised in Kingston, Chris moved to Ottawa in 1995, to attend Algonquin College. An interest in sports and a natural inclination towards customer service lead him to work with the Ottawa Senators, first as a box-office supervisor, then customer service representative and later, Group Sales and Account Manager. Chris joined Palladium in May 2005, and is a Commercial Lines Account Manager, providing sales and service to small- and medium-sized businesses.

Bill Matheson, Commercial Lines Account Manager

Billy MathesonBilly joined Palladium in 2005, as an account manager, and soon earned his RIBO license. He specializes in personal lines for home, auto and small businesses. Now in the process of completing his Canadian Accredited Insurance Brokers designation, Billy’s strengths lie in his years of experience in the industry and a genuine understanding of the needs of a new generation of clients.

Tim SnellingPresident and CEO

Tim SnellingTim likes to say he was born and raised in Kanata when there was still only one traffic light in town. Past-president of the Ottawa Insurance Brokers Association (2004-2006) and a Charter Member of the Rotary Club of Kanata, Tim founded Palladium Insurance in 1996, on the strong foundation of his father’s original company, Snelling and Layton Insurance.

As president of Palladium, his number one priority is the level of service customers can expect, and a commitment to customers that they will always be able to reach a person who can deal with their questions during business hours. He believes in the benefits of doing business with someone who lives and works in our community. Tim knows that life changes and works to ensure Palladium Insurance has the plans and services clients need to cover them through all the stages of their lives.

Mavis Sholdice, Account Executive, Broker

Mavis WenmonnMavis has more than two decades of experience in the insurance industry and recently obtained her life license. Her primary focus is Group Insurance Benefits. She consults regularly with business owners to develop and implement cost-effective solutions that are specific to client’s needs and provide the level of service her clients require and expect. Mavis has earned several industry designations, including “Associate Customer Service” and “Associate Insurance Agency Administration” and has proven her commitment to providing superior service..

Shauna Mochilan, New Business Coordinator & Personal Lines Assistant

Shauna MochilanShauna was born in Alberta and moved to Ottawa at a young age. She attended Carleton University and obtained an Honors Bachelor degree in Law, as well as a minor in History. Her love of socializing and assisting people has given her an abundance of customer service experience. Shauna is the voice you hear when you call Palladium Insurance, as the company receptionist, and she is also the administrative assistant for the personal lines team. In the upcoming months she will be working toward obtaining her RIBO licence. Shauna enjoys comedy in any form, sushi, adventures and learning new things.

Greg Strahl, Vice President, Commercial

Greg StrahlGreg Strahl is Vice President of Commercial Programs, and a member of the executive committee. He provides risk management advice to organizations and individuals seeking to mitigate the financial impact of losses. Greg began his insurance career in 1988 with his family firm, Claus Strahl Insurance Broker Ltd. Following fifteen years with CSI in various capacities of client service and brokerage activities, Greg joined Marsh Canada Limited where he enjoyed the title of Vice President. At Marsh, Greg was responsible for all aspects of client service and provided risk management advice to organizations ranging from mid-sized General Contractors to a large, well known national Retailer. While at Marsh Greg was instrumental in the development of a national Jewelers Block insurance program. In 2008 Greg joined Canada Post Corporation to head up their Risk Management Department. As the national Director of Risk and Claims Management, his responsibilities included the oversight of Canada Post’s global insurance arrangements, extensive involvement in the management of Owner Controlled Construction Insurance Programs, oversight of third party bodily injury and property damage claims, as well as the active management of an integrated self insurance program. Greg obtained his Chartered Insurance Professional designation from the Insurance Instituted of Ontario in 2009 .

Gavin Mosley, GBA,Senior Account Executive, Group Benefits

Gavin MosleyGavin began his career specializing in employee benefits with Canada’s leading group insurance carrier in 2005 before joining Palladium Insurance in 2011. His technical expertise and ability to simplify, allows him to provide robust, easy-to-understand solutions. Gavin’s in-depth market knowledge also allows him to create customized plans for small to medium size businesses; previously available only to larger companies. Gavin has a degree in Finance from the University of Western Ontario and holds the Group Benefits Associate (GBA) designation, identifying him as a specialist in the field of employee benefits.
